Casino Royale

I've never seen such a shitstorm from a fan base as last year when they announced the replacement for Pierce Brosnan in the Bond series. They are as bad as Trekkies and Star Wars geeks when it comes to the passion they have for the movies. Either way, in my opinion it was a bunch of complaining for nothing because Daniel Craig was pretty damn cool as 007.

I am not the biggest Bond fan to begin with, but this movie was very cool. After the opening credits rolls, theres a great 10 minute chase scene incorporating Parkour (the French sport with the fancy running, and jumping), and the thing is awesome. It starts the movie out with a pretty good action sequence that just keeps going, and shows that the new Bond isn't a panty waste.

All the action in the movie was fun to watch, and I wish it just kept going. The whole first 60 minutes of the movie breezed by until Bond is set up with his new bitch to play his wife, where it drags on for 10 or 15 minutes as their relationship is introduced and we see he wants to touch her butt and she's not into it. Then the movie picks back up when Bond enters a highstakes poker game where this creep that cries blood is betting with other peoples investment money.

As boring as I think poker is, and I wish the whole TV show poker phenomenon would finally die down, the card scenes were good to watch. There was enough to them that they werent boring, and the new Bond chick was showing off some mega cleavage which was fine with me.

When I thought the movie was over, it picked back up again and took on another 20 minutes of swerves and action sequences. The final runtime was almost two and a half hours, and I think they could have shortened it a tad, but I am not complaining. I liked the movie and thought it was leagues better than Die Another Day. I think Craig is a smoother, more believable Bond than Brosnan too. Personally, I think he's a punk bitch since he let Mrs. Doubtfire toss a lime off his head and didn't do shit about it.

4 out of 5 sloppy, filthy buttholes. I am actually looking forward to Craigs next turn as Bond to watch him kick the shit out/throw his dick in some more assholes.
